6/02/2018 · Penke Panke has one apartment like that, and as mentioned, is in the the Sakka area of Happo. Over 10 years, I’ve probably stayed there 5-6 times, and the operation is excellent. They do a daily supermarket run, which is ideal if you have the apartment.
Like many of the Hakuba ski resorts, the average snowfall per season at Happo One is 11 metres or 36′. The top of the Happo ski resort is the highest of the Hakuba ski areas and the upper reaches of the resort are in the sub-alpine, unlike most of the neighboring resorts that are largely below the tree line.

The lodge is above the chair lifts of Hakuba’s Happo One and is virtually ski in, ski out. Otherwise it’s just 180m walk to the entry point of the Happo One ski area. With underfloor heating, en-suited rooms, pool table, bar, open fireplace and local booking service for restaurants, ski/snowboard hire, lessons, sightseeing and back country tours.
